When you run a business, it’s not just about you. It’s about your employees and their families. You owe it to yourself and your business to continue to generate revenue. Even during times like these…So your people can feed their people.
It’s also about your customers. Some of your customers will rely on your products or service… don’t leave them hanging. There’s already enough uncertainty in the world.
Anyway…
How do you continue to make money? How do you generate more revenue? You likely already know that to start and manage a business, marketing is very crucial.
Business Promotions
In order for a marketing strategy to be effective and deliver the highest ROI (return on investment) promotions must play a major role in it.
Pitching on job boards, blogging, and promoting yourself online are all great ways to make sales. But before you rush to Edgar Obare, Xtian Dela and other media personalities you need to have clear goals for your marketing. Do you want to increase your sales? Boost your traffic? This in itself will help you choose how and who you want to promote your business.
More important than anything: Use happy clients to attract more business sales. It’s easier to sell to an existing and satisfied customer than a new sales prospect altogether.
For each project that you successfully complete, request a review or a referral from the client. These will help build your network, give you credibility, and convince potential clients to buy from you.
These are some of the ways I promote my ‘small’ business and grow my product sales. Hopefully, you find something that resonates and can apply. I’d love to hear your insights as well. What kind of promo has worked for you or what you think might work?
Meanwhile, stay safe.
Just gone through the blog and realized the power of marketing and satisfied customer towards the continuity of any business.
