It’s hard to believe I’m like this cause of a book. A damned book– ‘the stars shine down’ by Sidney Sheldon.

Truth be told I’m a cry baby. I cry when I get paper cuts and when things don’t go my way.

Sidney Sheldon created a femme fatale. Lara Cameron thought for herself, didn’t repeat other people’s opinions and pass them as her own. She was direct and expected other people to be. Perhaps her manner seemed a little brusque to some if not most, perhaps it may even irritate or alarm you, but soon you’ll pick up the social graces now that you’re no longer a child. Personally, I find Lara refreshingly straightforward, somewhat similar to myself, in fact.

Lara Cameron ought to have hated the men in her life especially her father. But she didn’t.

The stars shine down is a story a girl who wanted it all. All except love.

I still can’t believe the book got to me. My tears are all dried up now, gone as quickly as they’d fallen. I want recommend this book to someone but I wouldn’t know how to rate it. How do you rate a book that’s above the rate meter?
